We can't do it without you! Here's how you can get involved:  

Become a Member

The Friends provide direct financial assistance to the library by purchasing special or unusual items which are not funded under the regular library budget. With your help, we pay for Museum Passes (11 currently, and more are to be added) and present music series and programs for people of all ages. By being a Friend, you'll know that you are making a difference to one of our community’s most important institutions. Please join us today. You can join (and donate) directly through this website, using Paypal, or you can print out a membership form by clicking here:  Membership Application 2022.pdf. The membership form, and your payment, can be mailed to the Friends, in care of the Library, 75 Maple St., Summit, or dropped off the next time you visit the Library. Donate

We welcome cash donations of any size; every dollar makes a difference! We are a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Does your employer match charitable donations? If that is the case, and you make a donation, please provide the appropriate forms and we will file for the matching funds. Click on the Donate tab to make a donation now, or become and member and add a donation when you register!

Volunteer

The Friends sponsor various events at the Library that need staffing. We also need volunteers who will solicit donations from merchants, write press releases, help maintain the website, post event flyers around town, and many other activities. Just become a member, then email us at sfplfriends.org@gmail.com and let us know you'd like to help!
