The 2nd Annual Arbor Day Presentation at the Library, sponsored jointly by the FOL and the City of Summit Shade Tree Advisory Committee, will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 7:30, also in the downstairs meeting room. The topic this year is "Native Species for Planting in Summit: Ecological Landscaping", and the presentation will be made by Summit City Forester John Linson, and Reeves-Reed Arboretum Director of Horticulture Marc Montefusco. Last year's Arbor Day presentation on the Landmark Trees of Summit drew a standing-room only crowd and was a huge success, so be sure to get there early and grab a seat for this year's celebration of Arbor Day and the trees of Summit.
